The successful applicant will maintain an Office for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at US Navy AIMD in Norfolk VA; receive incoming APS-145 radar Weapons Replaceable Assembly (WRA) from CBP P-3 operational sites in Jacksonville, Florida and Corpus Christi, Texas; induct WRA’s into the repair cycle; track WRA’s through the repair cycle and assist USN technicians as required; monitor the Quality Assurance of the completed repairs; ship Ready-for-issue (RFI) assets to required destinations; communicate and coordinate WRA disposition with CBP and LM; provide trend monitoring and asset documentation to CBP and LM; support agreements in place between USN and CBP, which allows this Representative to be utilized for non-DHS-CBP APS-145 work on a not-to-interfere basis; provide technical assistance to LM site personnel in isolating and identifying causes of failure, applicable repair; and provide training, both reiterative and initial to LM site personnel in system theory and operation.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and pass a DHS Background Investigation.The following comment is not targeted at any specific salary grade level. The successful applicant will be compensated based on market rates and internal equity for the work to be performed. The successful internal applicant may be transferred laterally (the same salary grade) with or without a change in compensation or may be promoted into a higher salary grade with or without an upward adjustment in compensation.There is assistance available for relocation.
